| Folkestone & District FHS | The Folkestone and District Family History Society was founded in 1976 to encourage and promote the study of family history in the South East Kent area. |
| Kent FHS | The Kent Family History Society is the largest and oldest Family History Society in Kent, with over 4,000 members worldwide and with branches in Ashford, Canterbury, Deal, Maidstone, Medway (Strood), Thanet (Birchington) and on the Internet. These meetings are free to local members, or to any member visiting the County. |
